9. World Famous Hawg Trough - Bass Tub

Watch bucket mouth bass in this 5,000 gallon aquarium. Through observation of the bass and professionals, you will learn new  techniques that will help you on the water. 

8. NJ Bass Federation – Reel Kids Casting Competition

The New Jersey Bass Federation is hosting a “REEL KIDS” event on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Participation in the event is free and open to children of all ages. During the event, children will be given hands-on instruction on the basic lure presentation techniques of flipping, pitching and casting.”

7. American Fly Fishing School - 4th Annual Kids Fly Casting Competition

Mike Corblies, national fly fishing personality and Director of American Fly Fishing Schools will Emcee the 4th Annual Kids Fly Casting Competition. The competition is a fly casting accuracy tournament for kids 10 to 17. No previous fly casting experience is necessary to participate and all the equipment is provided.

6. “SIMUL-CAST POND” presented by Captain Mike Corblies

SIMUL-CAST POND 50’ long casting pond that is 16’ wide by 2’ deep that with large screen T.V. monitors placed alongside the pond that are hooked up to our DVD/video camera pa system. This state of the art system shows exciting fly fishing and kayaking video footage related to the techniques Mr. Corblies and his team will be  teaching at and in the pond.

“SIMUL-CASTING” takes teaching these sports to a whole new level. These performances are very interactive with our guests plus and offer individual casting lessons and kayaking tips between presentations.

5. Cabela’s Latest Video “Dangerous Hunts”

Come play Cabela’s newest hunting game  for Free! You can hunt virtual animals with new hunting peripherals in a Giant Truck. This game is incredibly addictive and a ton of fun to play.

4. Wild World of Animals & Live Birds of Prey

Considered “one of the top five edu/tainment shows in the world” is Grant Kemmerer’s Wild World of Animals. Grant, and wife Jaimie bring an array of wildlife and present a fast paced, entertaining and educational stage show, featuring a variety of animals, birds, and mammals including: American alligator, alligator snapping turtle, albino monocle cobra, reticulated python, European Eagle Owl, opossum, binturong, spot nose guenon monkey, and an African spotted leopard or hyena. 3. Garden State Deer Classic

The Garden State Deer Classic is presented each year to feature the outstanding white-tailed deer harvested during the previous year’s hunting seasons and recognize the hunters who took them.

Check New Jersey’s finest. The classic draws more exceptional displays each year with several awards given out on Sunday, January 16 at 2:30 pm to the most outstanding entries.
