As 2010 opens up with blizzards in the east and freezing temps across the southern states, James and I are taking a step back and reviewing our 2009 fishing year.  Not everything was perfect at the beginning of the year, for example the initial look and feel of FishAddix :)  We hope we’ve fixed it by now… and will look to you guys to let us know how we can keep improving.

2009 - Strange fish, cash prizes, programming glitches & a whole new site!

Still holding strong as the freakiest picture is that catch of a Wolfish. That is one ugly, scary looking fish!  Check out the other top catches under the Skillz Leaderboard and the lunker 16.75lbs Bass caught by Troy! Do you have a lunker to post on the leader board?

Huge congratulations to Jason for taking home the $500 giveaway prize as the FishAddix Angler of the Year, 2009.  Lots of you were out there competing for that top prize and it came down to the final days.  Jason took it home in the end but congrats to all of you who were out there posting fishing reports and competing!

This year we also know the Admin Team had their fair share of hick-ups… Our ugly first designs, the site being down for a few days, amongst others technical problems!  Thanks to all of you who sent your “supportive” emails yelling at us to get it up and running again… we’re all getting a little bit addicted to it aren’t we?

The end of the year did go out with a bang, sort of.  We built (and released finally) the awesome new stats and locations tool. Now itís your job to make it work for you!  See results and improve your skills after posting just a few of fishing reports.  Wondering how it all works? All you have to do is post your fishing reports to your favorite places to fish and we map out all the information for you!

2010 New Years Resolution - Catch More Fish!                               

Want to triple, quadruple your catches in 2010?  Then create your favorite lake and invite your buddies to post their reports for that location too!  There is an invite friend feature on the Location Pages.  Adding 1 friend to your favorite place to fish increases the amount of information available to you by 100%!  Invite 10 - 15 friends and really see the clear patterns FAST!
